before it becomes available for sale on this web site. We
inspect each and every pipe for fit and finish of both the
briar and stem, flaws and imperfections, proper drilling
of the bowl and air ways, proper balance of the pipe and
over all "feel", proper thickness of the walls
and heel and of course, aesthetics. If a pipe does not pass
all of our criteria it will not make it on these pages.We
are constantly updating and adding new pipes to our web
site, so please check back often. Any new line we decide
to carry must also pass the tests above. The decision to
introduce a new line is not something we take lightly. Our
customers have learned over the years that we pride ourselves
on this painstaking process. We are not swayed by market
hype and "great deals" from manufacturers and
